Daytona

Thrown in the car on the way to Daytona. When we got there, my brain in full of excitement, I run to the go karts . I was first there I got in the best go kart and raced down the track.        

Commonwealth at Cheltenham School

On  Friday Cheltenham school invited Apiti school to have a fun day, called commonwealth games. There was high jump, gymnastics, discuss and shot put and last but not least, sprinting. We had to do a little challenge and we had to do the egg and spoon race, apple bobbing and a wheel barrow race. I like the egg and spoon race because I won.   

Speech - Levi Sherwood

Levi Sherwood ... who is he? 

He is one of the best motor cycle riders in the world. And amazingly he is from Palmerston North. Let me tell you about the young man who raised to be a motorcycle legend. 

He grew up riding his motorbike and has been riding it for the last 18 years. He is following in the footsteps of his father Dave Sherwood, a professional speedway racer. He started with M.X racing but it didn't take Levi long to realise that he loved jumping and leaning new tricks.

He joined the F.M.X scene; a place where you compete doing new tricks. He was on the way to establishing himself as the shooting star of the international F.M.X scene. 

Although he still sometimes races M.X and S.X for fun, F.M.X is where Levi Sherwood's heart and soul is. 

Levi Sherwood competed in the Crusty tour national event in N.Z and A.U.S for a few years.

His 1st international competition was Red Bull x fighters in Mexico city. He was a wild card which means they didn't expect him to do very well - But amazingly he won the main event! He made everyone happy with the incredible trick he did such as the inverted back flip superman. Did you know Levi was the youngest ever to claim an international title.

At the next  Red Bull x fighters, in Calgary, he didn't win but everyone agreed that he was one of the top rider`s in the world.    

He find him inspiring because he is a kiwi motorcyclist who has put New Zealand on the map.  
I'd love him to teach me hoe to do a back flip on a motorbike!

Adventure Time

Once upon a time there were two men called Finn and Jake. They went on a big space ship but when they got beside the moon a silly man pushed him off and then Jake screamed out “Noooo!”

And then Jake pushed the dumb man over and jumped off  the spaceship. When they landed, Jake said, “I fell for it!”  

When they were walking on the path way they came upon a huge predator. It looked like a robot, but with an alien head, so Finn got his big sword and cut its neck off. He then carried on walking until Jake walked into a big! predator that looked like an alien but with a robot head .So Jake punched it in the guts. Then they ran off, but when  they got  about 10ks they found an  ENORMOUS castl  They went in and tripped over a wire and face planted and just about died.
When they got up Finn found a big treasure chest. So Finn and Jake went key hunting. When they found the key Finn opened the chest and then the castle started to fall down so they ran for their lives.

When they got out, the castle turned into a big monster.

Jake grabbed his big sledge hammer and Finn got his big sword out. Jake jumped on to the monster’s chest hitting it on the side of its neck.  The monster grabbed Jake with its claws and threw him on the ground.Finn jumped on its foot , climbed up to its heart and stabbed it.  He also climbed up onto its head and stabbed its brain until it collapsed.

Then Jake looked behind him. Suddenly there was a helicopter right there that whole time. So they hopped in and flew back to Earth. But when they got back to Earth their was a BIG WORLD WAR so they got their Gun's and joined in and started to shoot
